INTERN

Art Intern

IM International is offering an excellent opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students interested in gaining hands-on experience in art education. We are seeking a creative, energetic and flexible intern to run the Children’s Art Class on Saturday mornings. Individuals interning must be available two days a week for a minimum of 12 hours.  The ideal candidate should have an interest in political art, social art practice and have a passion for working with the community. Spanish is a plus.

Tasks include:

-Overall responsibility of children’s art class
-Preparing a lesson plan that incorporates themes of self-empowerment and identity relating to social justice and the immigrant experience
-Performing basic administrative tasks

Childcare
