artist Khaled Jarrar will be stamping your passports with the State of Palestine stamp.

For my ongoing project, Live and Work in Palestine, I create an official stamp for the state of Palestine and I stamp the actual passport with it. With this project, I am talking about our existence as human beings at the time when there is more than five million Palestinian living outside Palestine as refugees, and Palestinian who live in their lands under occupation. My project is a demonstration of the call for freedom.
I did a performance for this project in Ramallah, Berlin, Paris, and Belgrade. I will also perform it in Ghent on November 25, 2011 and in Brussels on November 26, 2011. On December 17th or 18, 2011, I will do my performance in Rome, Italy. More specific location coming soon.
Live and Work in Palestine will be shown at the Berlin Biennale in 2012.
