Project Description: In celebration of International Migrants Day, I am pleased to host a Personal Histories Afternoon Tea in honor of the migrants who have shaped our lives. We’ll share mythologies based on factual and fictitious journeys of ancestors and relatives who dared to cross borders and become aliens. Together, we will re-tell and re-imagine the brave souls who helped sculpt the shape of our lives with their acts of invention, necessity, and sacrifice.
