Máximo Taverez
Máximo Taverez came to the community of Corona, Queens in 1981 from the Dominican Republic. He moved here for economic reasons, joining his family in the city of New York. Today he works at the Department of Social Services as a supervisor of the Medicaid Home Care Services program.
