Consagración: acto de presencia

Project Description:
Un “emigrante” no es solamente aquel que vive o pernocta en un país extraño, creo en una etimología más amplia para este término: Los emigrantes, también, son aquellos individuos inadaptados, inadecuados, incapacitados para incluirse en una infraestructura institutiva X o un sistema social específico, es decir, los que no participan, los que están excluidos. Los que no son afines a ciertas conductas, actitudes y normas sociales establecidas van fabricando su propio país, su bandera y estatus social, crean en un punto determinado -así sea su hogar o otro espacio cualquiera- un Estado Emergente. En mi caso: Aglutinador Country.
Narración de la performances:
Si bien el pasado año desarrollé un proyecto llamado, “24 horas sin salir de mi Patria: Aglutinador- Country” que consistió en permanecer 24 horas sin salir de mi casa/galería independiente (Espacio Aglutinador), este año mi intención será todo lo contrario:
1- Saldré de mi Patria (Aglutinador) a las 10:00 AM, esto me convertirá, automáticamente, en una emigrante.
2- Me infiltraré (como artista-indocumentada) en el Centro Wifredo Lam y me haré fotos turísticas en el mismo.
3- Seguidamente recorreré un tramo de la parte antigua de la ciudad de La Habana, para insertarme en el Centro de Desarrollo de las Artes Visuales como una extranjera que llega a retratarse junto a las obras expuestas por los artistas nativos institucionalizados y documentados.
4- Mas tarde llegaré a la Fototeca de Cuba en donde pasearé y me tomaré más fotos turísticas.
5- Por último entraré a la galería, La Casona en donde intentaré establecer un diálogo fraternal con algún representante del lugar.
Llevaré puestas camisetas blancas (cada una para cada institución) con los siguientes textos impresos en ellas:

De esta manera me convertiré en una emigrante por cuatro o cinco horas y después de esta controvertida experiencia regresaré, a descompresionar, a mi Patria: Aglutinador-Country.
An “immigrant” is not only those who live or spend the night in a strange country, I think in a broader etymology for this term: Migrants, too, are those individuals misfits, inadequate, unable to be included in an infrastructure or system institutiva X specific social, ie those who are not, those who are excluded. Those who are not related to certain behaviors, attitudes and social norms will manufacture its own country, its flag and social status, created at a certain point, so be it your home or any other space-an emerging state. In my case: Aglutinador Country.
Narrative of the performances:
While last year I developed a project called, “24 hours without leaving my country: Aglutinador-Country” that was to stay 24 hours without leaving my house / independent gallery (Space Aglutinador), this year I intend to be the opposite :
1 – I’m going out of my country (Aglutinador) at 10:00 AM, it will make me automatically a migrant.
2 – I’ll infiltrate (as artist-undocumented) Wifredo Lam Center and I’ll do the same tourist photos.
3 – Then go about a section of the old part of the city of Havana, to insert in the Development Center for the Visual Arts as a foreigner coming to portray with the exhibited works by native artists institutionalized and documented.
4 – Later get to the Library of Cuba where I’ll stroll will take more photos and tourism.
5 – Finally come in to the gallery, La Casona where fraternal try to establish a dialogue with a representative of the place.
I will wear white shirts (each for each institution) with the following text printed on them:

Thus I will become a migrant for four or five hours and after this experience back issue, to decompress, to my country: Aglutinador-Country.
