DRUM – Desis Rising Up and Moving is a multigenerational, membership led organization of working class South Asian immigrants in New York City. Desi is a common term used by people of South Asian descent to identify as people from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and parts of the diaspora including Africa, England, Fiji, Guyana, and Trinidad.
Andolan organizes low-income, South Asian workers to fight against injustices faced because of abusive employers. Andolan envisions a world in which all workers are treated with respect and dignity.
WAW is a grassroots civil society organization dedicated to securing and protecting the rights of disenfranchised Afghan women and girls, in Afghanistan and New York, particularly their rights to develop their individual potential, to self-determination, and to be represented in all areas of life: political, social, cultural and economic. We advocate for women’s rights and challenge the norms that underpin gender-based violence wherever opportunities arise to influence attitudes and bring about change.
The Philippine Forum strives to make Filipinos and Filipino Americans aware of their roots, conscious of their rights, and cognizant of their responsibilities as members of both the American and Philippine societies, and as citizens of the global community.
We endeavor to enhance the Filipino community’s capacity in becoming active participants in the overall effort to effect meaningful changes in society.

Based in New York City, Nodutdol is a community of first through fourth generation Koreans living in the U.S. We are a community that has families in both, the south and north of Korea. We are diverse in our backgrounds and perspectives, but bound together by our shared sense of the Korean homeland that continues to suffer under division [with the understanding that the concept of ‘home’ may vary]. We are part of the Korean diaspora spread throughout the globe made up of artists, filmmakers, teachers, students, workers, professionals, young families, etc. who believe in social justice.
The mission of Drishtipat is to empower and enable the underprivileged and the marginalized segment of the society and individuals living in social and economic poverty so that they can exercise their most basic human rights with dignity, opportunity and hope.

The Immigrant Family Services Program is a new program at NICE, in collaboration CIANA (Center for the Integration and Advancement of New Americans), and funded by DYCD citywide initiative to provide services to new immigrants and refugees.
The primary goal of the work is to help individuals and families in the immigrant community get ahead while also connecting them with others in the same situation. Case Management, Individual and Group Counseling, Educational Workshops, and Translation Services, are examples of activities available.
