Visual Migrations

Visuals Migrations

Location:

Mexico City, Puebla, and Cholula, Mexico

Project Description:

Visual migrations, proposes a view of Street art coming from digital practices. The issue of registration and documentation in urban art constitutes a source of experimentation that restates and explores its scope. The very risks, limitations and temporality of works in the street, like the necessity for anonymity; replants the idea of memory in respect to street art.

Visual migrations intents an appropriative exercise of the public space from the audiovisual standpoint and opens a collective exercise of intervention, digital files and an itinerant exhibition. Our work mix the artistic practice with the academic research of urban art.

All of us are migrants, we believe in no passport, no frontier: Visual Migrations.
