Basic Immigration Laws Workshop

The workshop will give a brief description of immigration law with lawyer Ana María Bazán. She will talk about various topics in immigration laws including the most common way to to obtain permanent residency through relatives, employers,as victims of domestic violence, as victims of crimes and by asylum. She will talk about the best defense against deportation. This training will also explain clearly and honestly the limits of adjustment and the best protection against deportation and detention. There will be time for questions and answers.

El taller dará una breve descripción de las leyes de inmigración con la abogada Ana María Bazán. Se hablará sobre el tema de las leyes básicas de inmigración, que incluirá las formas más comunes de obtener la residencia permanente en EE.UU a través de familiares, jefes, como víctimas de violencia doméstica, como víctimas de crímenes y asilo. Se hablará en breve sobre las defensas más comunes de deportación. Este entrenamiento también les explicará clara y honestamente sobre todas las barreras de ajuste y las defensas más comunes de deportación y detención. Habrá tiempo para preguntas y respuestas.
