Project Description:
On December 18, 2011, at 2:00pm I will walk on walls that enclose, divide, and separate public parks from the city fabric. I will invite others to join me in walking on walls, city-wide, for one hour wearing white to connect the participants in this symbolic public action. This is a call to acknowledge not only Karachi’s diverse and walled-in migrant communities but also an appeal for public space –open to all, irrespective of race, color or class. Unbounded and free.
